"All of our problems would be solved we had a bigger home!" I used to think this for years. My husband and I rented apartments for several years and I over these years I started to realize that our space wasn't the only problem. Sure it's nice to have more space, but you can easily fill even a three bedroom home if you have too much stuff.
I was first inspired to go through our things when I saw Marie Kondo's Tidying Up on Netflix. There is a sort of art to decluttering and it has proved to be quite therapeutic. I can't claim to be a messy person who converted into an acrylic bin hoarder, however, I have discovered some really cool strategies to make my home more organized. Not only did we up our aesthetic game, but we have also upped our efficiency game, too! No more wandering the house looking for that paperclip we swore was on the bookshelf. No more fumbling around for the checkbook when it's time to pay up. No more stocking up on hand soap on accident because WHOOPS I didn't see that we already had a hefty stash!
